A few years ago I’ve been dating a girl who lived far away on the other side of the city. Every weekend I walked her home, and then jumped into the last car of the subway. The journey home took more than an hour. I liked to observe people, notice details, try to see in them something more than others couldn`t notice. Such night home returns have become an excellent opportunity to sit in front of an interesting person and study it for a long time. We all love to watch random accidental strangers, but I have brought this skill to the absolute. I have had TLR camera Flexaret in my hands on one of such evenings. Although it was dark in the car, I could not resist taking picture one of the passengers whom I had spotted. I have always had my camera with me from that time. Last metro train shooting have become regular. It was not a fictitious search for the opportunistic texture of people - poor old people or unruly children. It was only my view of people who have to share their way home with me. I have used hidden camera. Nobody have noticed I had shoot him. I have used Kodak P3200 film specially cut and wound into the 120th coil. Sometimes I have shot for several roll per weekend, sometimes the shutter was idle for three months.
